A "Team Code" (also known as a "Company Code") will allow the System to display real estate listings of different advertisers (individuals) who choose to link their listings to the same code (the "Team Code"). The most common use is real estate representatives from the same brokerage office elect to link their listings to the same code assigned to the brokerage office. With this feature, the brokerage office (or a group of offices) can display all listings of all representatives of the same brokerage office (or offices) on the brokerage's corporate website, while each individual representative can still display listings of the representative's own on his or her personal website.

For the individual Advertisers

Team Code as part of your personal data

When you (individual) register as a new Advertiser you will be asked to enter a Team Code in the Registration Form. It is recommended that you fill in the box if you DO have a Team Code at the time you register as a new Advertiser, or at the time you modify your personal profile (see figure below).

Flexibility and in control

You (individual Advertiser) can decide AT ANY TIME if you want a particular property to be included in your brokerage office's list when you post a new ad or modify any of your existing ads. When you are at the data input page, select the appropriate checkbox if you want the property to be linked to the Team Code (see image below), otherwise just leave the box unchecked.

For the brokerage offices (or organizations)

How does it work?

If you are the management of a brokerage office, a Team Code will allow your office (or a group of offices) to use the database of HOMESmarketing.com as if it is a complete real estate database of your office's own! A Team Code embedded on your office's website can create a list of all real estate listings (including For Sale and For Rent listings) that have been elected to be linked to the Team Code. Individual representatives (the advertisers) will still manage (create, modify, cancel or renew) their own listings and the office's list is automatically updated in real time whenever there is a change. A Team Code may be issued to a brokerage office at no charge (see end of message).

How to obtain a Team Code?

A unique Team Code can be assigned to a licensed real estate office (or a real estate related organization) free of charge. Please send your request by following these steps:

• Go to our online Email Form
• From the "Inquiry Topic" drop down menu, select "Real Estate Brokerages Inquiry"
• Fill out the contact information of your brokerage (or organization)
• At the "Questions or comments" box, enter "Request for a Team Code"
• Press the "Send" button to send the message
