Navigation Guides
The Yellow Menu Bar
Ad-related activities can be initiated from the "topic
links" found on the yellow menu bar (see above),
which is located at the top of pages throughout the
system. To view the illustrated guides about the elements
on the yellow menu bar please chick here.
Geographic areas covered by the system
The HOMESmarketing.com system currently covers geographic
areas (called "Regions") throughout North America.
Advertising services for the Regions are provided through
individual sections of the system called "Regional sites".
Currently the system has 74 Regional sites covering areas
in Canada and the United States of America combined.
Can't find a desired Region?
Advertisements on the system are grouped in geographic
areas where the ads are intended for. If you could not
find a Region of your choice it could be one of the
following two possibilities:
- A city (municipality, township or other level of
district) that is within a Region covered by the system
but is not listed in the corresponding Regional site. If
this is the case and if you wish us to add that district
to the specific Regional site, please send us a message
via our online Email Form.
- You are looking for an area that is outside North
America, hence is not yet covered by our system. If you
would like to create a new Region for setting up your own
Internet advertising business using our system facilities,
please visit section "Business Opportunities" for more
information.
Navigation of site
- Headquarters site. The Headquarters site is the
gateway where you reach the system. Web pages having the
prefix "http://www" in the beginning of the URL are
on the Headquarters site. You can reach the Headquarters
homepage at "http://www.homesmarketing.com". Memorize our
name by its short form: "HOMESmarketing.com"
("HOMES-marketing-dot-com"). The short form is easier to
remember and to tell friends, too!
- Regional sites. Regional sites are individually
designated to serve advertisers and consumers in specific
geographic areas. It contains advertisements that are
targeting consumers in its designated areas. It is easy to
distinguish if a page is on the Headquarters site or on a
Regional site - Pages of a Regional site do not
have "http://www" in the beginning of its URL. In
addition, the "region name" is always displayed on the
left-hand side of the yellow menu bar at the top of pages
of a Regional site.
- Moving between sites. At the right hand side of
the yellow menu bar at the top of most pages
throughout the system you'll find a "Change Region" link.
Clicking on the link will bring you to a new page where
you can select the Region of your choice and select a task
to proceed, all in one step.
- Posting ads to the system. You can only post
ads in a Regional site. You cannot post ads in the
Headquarters site because it does not provide any "search
ad" functionality. Besides, you must first enter the
Region of your choice before posting your ad, because the
ad can be searched only in the Region where the ad was
originally posted. To post a new ad (or modify, renew or
cancel an existing ad), look for the "Advertisers
SIGNUP/LOGIN" link at the right hand side of the yellow
menu bar.
- Page footer and system information. On almost
all pages of the entire system (i.e., regardless of
Region) you'll find links of various topics at the footer
of the page - these are topics about or related to the
system in general. There, you'll find access to our
contact information as well.
